Biography
Elizabeth Rudnick is the Co-Chair of the Employment Discrimination Practice Group at RHP. With over 25 years of experience, Liz is a highly skilled litigator dedicated to defending employers in complex employment-related disputes. Over the course of a distinguished career, she has represented businesses of all sizes in both federal and state trial and appellate courts, as well as before various fair employment practices agencies.

Liz’s practice focuses on defending employers against a broad range of employment claims, including but not limited to federal and state discrimination claims, wage and hour disputes, leave and disability issues, and claims related to gender, race, disability, sex, religion, age, national origin discrimination and retaliation claims. She has extensive experience in both litigation and pre-litigation matters, providing strategic counsel to help employers navigate the complexities of the workplace while minimizing risk and exposure.

In addition to litigation defense, Liz conducts high-level, sensitive internal investigations into human resources practices, workplace harassment, and compliance with federal and state regulations. These investigations are designed to help employers proactively identify potential issues, mitigate risks, and implement corrective action when necessary.

As a trusted advisor, Liz provides guidance on best practices for avoiding litigation, including counseling on policies and procedures for managing workplace disputes and ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws. This includes advising employers on the interactive process for handling accommodation requests under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA).

Liz regularly represents clients before federal and state fair employment practices agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and various state-level human rights commissions, advocating on behalf of employers in investigations, mediations, and conciliations.

Throughout her career, Liz has been committed to delivering practical, cost-effective legal solutions that allow employers to maintain healthy, compliant, and productive workplaces while minimizing the risk of costly litigation. Her deep understanding of the law, combined with an unwavering commitment to client service, has made Liz a trusted partner for employers facing complex legal challenges in the ever-changing world of employment law.
